I’m a massive fan of liquid liners and have tried dozens, if not hundreds, of different ones over the last few years. Unfortunately some of them have been completely rubbish and ended up in the bin after only a couple of uses but I have some firm favourites that I’ve bought again and again!
I figured I may as well put together a little list of my all time favourites… these are liners that are easy to apply (well as easy as a liquid liner can be to apply I guess!) properly black – not that horrid washed out grey look that some “black” liners give – long lasting, smudge proof and extremely precise
Only one high end liner has made it into the top 5 and it’s not cos I have anything against the premium beauty brands or anything; I’ve just found a lot of the drugstore ones are far more user friendly :)
You'll probably notice I prefer the little felt tip applicators to the brush style which is why there's only 1 brush in my top 5!

4th - Rimmel Exaggerate Eye Liner in 001 100% black
3rd - L'Oreal Super Liner Carbon Gloss in black
2nd - Lancome Artliner in Black

I loooove liquid eyeliner too! The Prestige black liquid liner is my HG liquid liner; it's always ALWAYS out of stock at drugstores! x_x
I LOVE the NYX felt tip eyeliner. Its my newest favorite.
I like the NYC one BEST for application, but I find that it dries up and flakes off too soon for my liking... I really like the Hard Candy one, and I like ones that are felt tip marker-style ones. :)
Oh thanks for posting. I don't use liquid eyeliners because I don't know much about them.
Why are these your favorites? And have you ever used coloured ones?
My favorite liquid liner is a pen liner from Kate, a japanese brand, it stays on my skin and doesn't budge at all through out the day unless I remove it with eye make up remover..thanks for doing this post! I definitely wanna try the color stay liner and the NYC liner now..

I love the natural collection liquid eyeliner, but the problem is that is separates really quickly! xxx

I love L'Oreal Superliner but mine is drying out so I need a new one...I'm tempted to try one from another brand so this post is really useful! x
I love L'Oreal Superliner and have repurchased it so many times. I like the look of the Revlon Colourstay one... Might have to look into that one! xx
I may try the Revlon one. I use the L'Oreal Carbon Gloss but i find recently it's been flaking away :( x
Thanks so much for sharing this! Currently I love MAC Liquidlast because it doesn't budge at all, but it's too pricey for me to keep replacing. I'll keep the Revlon one in mind for next time :D

Nicolthepickle these are my favourites cos they are sooo easy to apply, really dark and they all last for ages. Also, most of them are really inexpensive (except for the Lancome one… I break out in a cold sweat when I have to hand over the cash for it!) Oh and I adore coloured liners! I actually wear teal and purple liners fairly often and my current favourite is a gold one by No7 :)
