Bobbi Brown long-wear gel eyeliner

Although I seem to pick up a new gel liner every other week I don’t use them very often… I just find that pencils and liquid liners take a little less effort cos there’s no brush at the end that requires cleaning. Me? Lazy? Well maybe just a tad :)

This was one of those rare impulse purchases where I got home and was actually still pleased that I picked it up!

The liner comes in a teensy tiny glass jar and there is an unbelievably small amount of gel but a little goes an incredibly long way so although I’ve used this dozens of times I’ve barely made a dent in the product

I've found that the ELF small precision brush works well when applying this

What I love about this is that it’s so easy to apply; if I’m in a rush I can sweep this on quickly and correct any mistakes before it dries. As much as I adore my liquid liners I don’t like having to start all over if I happen to make a mess of it during application

The colour is really intense so I generally use Graphite Shimmer Ink during the day and Black Ink if I’m heading out for the evening, haven’t tried any other colours yet but I have my eye on the Violet Ink cos it looks really rich and pretty

Oh and when they say long-wear they really mean it in this case! Once this sets it stays in place all day long without smudging or creasing. Last Saturday I applied this before work and it looked perfect by the end of the day… I then committed the ultimate skin sin and fell asleep next to Adryen whilst watching TV, when I woke up hours later my liner hadn’t budged!

Wow, this sounds like it really stays on! I personally love pencil liners, but am starting to get the hang of liquid liners now. Gel? Maybe I'll try that someday! :)

My sister used this too and she swore by it! Me? I'm using the much, much inexpensive version of it for now which is ELF cream liner..haha..XD This one sounds really good though..cheaper ones dries a bit too fast for me to repair any mistakes I make..

I loved my gel liner but it is too flaky to use now :( I guess it's time for a new one!

I love the Bobbi Brown gel liners! I only have one, in Denim Ink. I don't wear it very often because the looks I wear don't usually call for a dark blue liner, but I do love it when I use it!

I have heard lovely things about this product. However, I am just as lazy as you and I can bother to use a gel liner when there's a pencil around :)

It seems like a great product, thanks for the review!
I don't know why, but gel or liquid eyeliner don't go with me ): I just can't do the cat eye perfectly, I always mess it up ):

Amazing, always wanted to try BB gel liner.
Heard so much good about them,
When I was on the plane recently, they BA were selling a Ltd Edition Bobbi Brown set of 2 gel liners (brown & black) and 1 BB brush.
So I asked to buy it, they went away, took HOURS, came back and said their duty free shop had closed, so I couldn't buy it :(
I was very disappointed.

aisyah De Cullen I’ve heard nothing but good things about the ELF gel liners and judging by the pics on the site the colours look amazing. They’ll be top of my list next time I’m treating myself :)

Yet I haven’t tried the lipstick but every time I’m on the Bobbi Brown site I feel like I should buy a lip product or two cost I haven’t tried them yet

Marisa I’m the same – I have to spend AGES trying to get it just right so I generally save it for days when I have lots of time to do my makeup :)

Luna can I just say a massive thank you and also HURRAH!!!! I really appreciate it! I ramble a lot on my little blog so it’s great to know that someone thinks the stuff I say is actually interesting in some way!! Thanks again ♥

Cheeky Beauty that really sucks! I know it shouldn’t matter too much cos you didn’t exactly lose out on anything but I hate getting all excited about something only to have it snatched away. Grrr @ BA!!
