slight addiction?

Good evening good evening good evening! Hope you’ve had a great week so far. I’m extremely pleased that the weekend is just around the corner but I’m working on Saturday which sucks!

Do you ever come across a new product and completely fall in love causing you to buy said product in numerous different colours, shades and brands until you start to think you have a slight addiction that might require a stint with a terapist? Nope? Wow, was kinda hoping I wasn’t the only one...

My current obsession is with liquid eyeliners and I just cant get enough! I’ve been using black and brown liquid liners for years now (yet my hand still insists on shaking like a paint mixer when I’m applying them. Go figure!) but it was only when I got a bright turquoise liner free in one of those No7 bonus gifts that I started to branch out colourwise

Collection 2000 liners in Fierce, Ripped and Grunge

My favourite thing about the liquid liners is that the colour is seriously intense regardless of what eyeshadow you wear underneath it. So you can go for a really dark striking purple shadow but still finish it off with a lime green liner, which wouldn’t work nearly as well with a regular pencil style liner!

GOSH liners in 10 and 17

I’ve included snaps of my current favourites and I’m very pleased to say that I adore the Collection 2000 ones (which cost an amazing £2.99 each) as much as my Urban Decay ones (which cost a bank breaking £13 each. Ouch)

Anyone else think liquid liners are the best thing since sliced bread?

Tip of the day: Mix some honey and almond flour into a thick paste to create a scummylicious face scrub. Makes a fantastic gentle exfoliator thanks to the antiseptic properties of honey and the high levels of vitamins in both products ♥

Yep, another fan of coloured liners here! I haven't used mine for a while...will have to get them out and dust them off ready for the party season. (Well, Christmas shopping at any rate!). My faves are a MAC lime green one, a lilac one and a pink one - can't remember the makes of the other two.
'They' always suggest resting your elbow on a flat surface to apply, but that really doesn't help when you're standing in front of a mirror!!

I've never used a coloured liner before but I must say that I love Grunge one from Collection 2000!

Those colours look gorgeous! I love the black liquid liner but have never tried a coloured liner, I'm not brave enough to wear it out the flat! ;p

I don't think that I could pull off some fun colored eye liners you know? I have one in metallic light green but I'm always afraid to use it!

I'm very new to liquid liners right now, but I'm loving the idea of the color liquid liners. I'd love to see swatches sometime! :)

Thanks for all your lovely comments! I’m definitely gonna have to do some swatches, there are a few GOSH liners I wanna get my hands on to include in a future post so I shall take the pics as soon as I get those!

Pennyblossoms I couldn’t agree more! I don’t have an actual desk to sit at when I apply my makeup so everything is done standing up – might explain my sometimes sloppy application :)

Noir I hope you like the Grunge liner if you get your hands on it! I’ve worn it LOADS over the last few weeks and it manages to go with almost any colour eyeshadow

Leah I go through serious lipgloss phases where I just cant seem to stop buying them even though I have more than I could ever use in a lifetime. Never bought as many as 6 in 1 week though!! :p

Stacey I’m terrible for buying things that are far more OTT than I’d ever wear outdoors… Seems a bit of a waste to buy stuff only to wear it wandering about the house but I reckon some things are worth picking up just to see how they look ♥

Marisa I was the same for AGES – I kept applying a bright turquoise liner in the house but I’d never venture outside wearing it! Once I’d done it a few times I was happy enough to branch out to pretty much any colour. I guess it’s always hard to break away from the norm!
