Surprise shoes!

I love surprises as much as the next girl and if happens to involve shoes then all the better!
My best friend got me these supremely awesome Irregular Choice shoes out of the blue and I know they’re most definitely not everyones cup of tea but I adore them

I’d mentioned that I spotted some gorgeous “ice-cream” shoes and from that one little comment he (Yep, he’s a he. Who knew men had such brilliant taste?!) tracked these down. Le sigh. Even just looking at them makes me happy :)

I figured they really couldn't get any better... Till I found out they come with a bag!

Went to see my doctor today because my skin has been a complete nightmare recently! As much as I love wearing makeup I’d like to be able to go without it now n then but thanks to my breakout prone chin I look about 15. He prescribed Duac which is a gel formula that has to be applied every night

I was chatting to the (previously acne prone) pharmacist when I went to pick up the prescription who reckons this stuff is great so keep your fingers crossed for me!!

I use duac and my skin has never been better! It's amazing. I think it took a few weeks to start working but I only get about one spot every 3 months now, my skin is so clear and my pores have shrunk.

diamantegirl I'm not exaggerating when I say that your comment has totally made my day! I know people make it seem like it's no biggy but bad skin is such a nightmare to live with so I'm hoping this stuff works :)

Hannah I gave the Clinique anti-blemish range a shot and it wasn't very kind :( Even using the anti blemish solutions foundation instead of my usual one didn't help! See? my skin is just mean

Er, I hate to sound like a complete newbie but I don't really know how tags work? Am I s'posed to copy the questions and answer them on my blog? Sorry to sound so daft but I haven't done one before!! :)

Hopefully it will work just as well for you :-) be careful not to apply too much in one area though as it can dry your skin out and i don't know ifyour doctor told you this but it also helps prevent spots so apply it every night where you normally get spots.

I really love the shoes. <3

diamantegirl, he mentioned that! I was a wee bit worried when he said it can bleach (BLEACH!?!)clothes so I should probably use old sheets and pillow cases! Know what rules? I can already see an improvement in my skin. How awesome is that! *very happy face*

Thanks very much Kali! I can't wait to wear them but it would seem the weather doesnt want me to cos it's constantly raining :(

Love the blog and those shoes are absolutely SMASHING...love them. Oh, in regards to problem skin; seriously, who doesn't have issues. I am a huge fan of organic or natural skin care lines because they make your skin feel better, without being extremely harsh. Moor Spa is an amazing natural line and they have some great acne/blemish control products....Either way, glad you found something that works!!

Hi Christina, thanks for the comments! I've never even heard of Moor Spa before so might have a little look online to see what they have cos I love trying out new brands, especially anything mild and natural.

Still early days so I dunno how the Duac is gonna work out but I have seriously high hopes for it :)
