The Perfect Foundation?!

Picked up a new foundation a couple of days ago and felt the need to mention it because it was one of those how-on-earth-have-I-lived-without-this-product!? moments

A girl I work with had the most awful skin until very recently. She had loads of red, angry looking spots covering most of her face most of the time and although she never ever mentioned them it was obvious that it made her pretty uncomfortable. Her skin gradually seemed to improve over the last couple of months and when she arrived in work on Monday completely blemish free and attributed it to Healthy Mix foundation by Bourjois I picked up a bottle pretty much straight away :)

As you can see from the picture I’m a girl on a mission to find the perfect foundation and have tried quite a few so it takes a lot to impress me! I’ve tried a few Bourjois foundations in the past but always found them lacking in coverage... This one is light and feels lovely on the skin but still manages to hide a multitude of sins and even out my skin tone

Don’t you just love when you come across a new product that does exactly what it says on the tin? (er, I mean bottle)

Right, I’m off to make a nice cup of tea and read a few chapters of Crazy In Love. Nighty night folks :)

Sweet Jesus! You have a lot of foundations! You really are on a mission! Have you tried MAC face and body? Think I'm treating myself to that this weekend. BUBBLEGARM highly recommends Boujois Health Mix too. Great pic and post! x

Not yet Stacey but I've heard loads of good things about the MAC face and body! Been avoiding the MAC counter cos for some strange reason my purse is always much lighter when I leave it...

Nic I reckon it'll be a pretty decent foundation for winter because it isn't drying and feels fairly light, look forward to hearing your thoughts on it!

Thanks for the comments Pretty Wonderful :)

Hiya, new follower here.

I really want this foundation now - am a total foundation addict too!!

Fave at the moment is Lingerie de peau, just the most amazing foundation.

But still, if I do come across this, it might come home with me ;)

Hi Sweetcheeks, and welcome!

I can't believe you've got Guerlains Lingerie de peau already! I think my local Debenhams was s'posed to have it in stock from 15/09 but I havent been in recently. Cant wait to try it out though because I've heard some VERY good reviews :)

Wow you have lots of foundations! I havent tried many at all but so far my favourite is true match foundation from.. Is it Loreal? Oh well! Finally a drugstore foundation that works and that has a pale enough color for my skin!

Hi Honi, I tried the True Match foundation years ago when it was first released and found it really drying but I've heard so many rave reviews recently that I think I might just have to pick up another bottle to give it a try again!

Oh and Rimmel do some great foundations for pale skin :)

i am in the same situation when it comes to foundation! i have loads and loads of bottles sitting in my makeup drawer. i've been using my revlon colorstay foundation lately, but i'm not really in love with it. i don't think the brand you mention here is available in the US or i'd definitely try it!
