My top 5 maybelline products

Good evening all! Hope your weeks going well – for a change I actually had a really awesome Monday. Got up at 7.30 to make some tea and toast then went back to bed and watched TV till 11.30. To be honest I probably wouldn’t have bothered getting up but we had a plumber coming at 12. He has to come back to replace a radiator, in the meantime I'm avoiding the living room cos it's bloody freezing!

Just wanted to tell you about some of my favourite Maybelline products cos I’ve been using sooo many things from the range recently that I figured they definitely deserve a mention :)

I’m not gonna ramble on about them or anything, I just wanna say that I reckon each and every one of these awesome items does exactly what it says on the tin (bottle/tube/pot etc) and they’ve become firm favourites of mine. Don't you just love picking up cheap drugstore goodies only to find they completely exceed your expectations?
Mineral Foundation. Even comes with a teensy kabuki brush which is dead handy for keeping in your bag, car, desk at work etc... Not bad quality for a freebie. I think I paid just under a tenner for this
Define-a-lash mascara in black. Total bargain at £7.99
Gotta love the rubber applicator. I'm seriously picky when it comes to mascaras so I'm always really chuffed when I find a decent one
Dream satin liquid. Perfect for my (few and far between) good skin days. This gives a gorgeous light-medium coverage and looks amazingly natural
Line definer. Possibly the thinnest liner ever. I adore this because it's so easy to use and the line is unbelievably precise - even when I'm in a rush this does a fab job of making it seem like I spent ages on my makeup when actually it was probably about 5 minutes!
Super Stay 24 hr foundation and concealer. I know, I know, this is technically 2 products but they're both great and definitely deserve to be included here so I figured I'd squeeze them into one picture and you'd let them pass as one. Sneaky, no? :)

Know what's awesome? Going to bed and not setting your alarm. Le sigh, being off work totally rules! Thanks for stopping by and feel free to comment!

  10. glad to hear the 24hr concealer works for you! i picked it up during my UK trip and now i found that the shade is too dark on me - am looking to swap it away! prefer the mineral power concealer and dream matte mousse though! (but only mineral power concealer is sold here..there's no other concealers from maybelline...)

  15. Hi hun! Thanks for visiting my blog and commenting this much!! I'll do my best to reply to you here ^.^ (long comment, so prepare yourself ^.^)

My family has been the best throughout the years. Whenever I felt down, they were always very sweet, but it was eventually my Mom who told me to go see a doctor. I'm glad she did, eventhough it was hard to hear at first.
I have spots all around my face except my forehead, and I feel it's really having an influence on how I act when I'm around people.

The hydrating thing came as a surprise to me too! The cream I need to use dries out the acne, but I've noticed that whenever it gets on other places of my skin, it's waaaaaayyyy too drying. So I'm very careful, and only apply it only where needed.

I have absolutely no idea how long it will take before things will be better. In a few weeks I have my second appointment, and then the doctor will know more. I guess, for me, it will take AT LEAST two to three months, possibly even more, because it's almost my entire face... T__T

Thank you for complimenting my bravery (I'm not that brave, actually, I'm too much of a chicken to show my complete face, go figure) ^.^
In the past, I always thought my breakouts where something hormonal, and that they would eventually go away. -___- This Duac gel works the same way as my Benzac Gel, I guess. Try to only apply it on the places where you really need them!

It's good you go see your doctor again! I know we should be patient because the breakouts don't go away overnight, but once treatment has started, we always want things to get well fast. Good luck on your appointment!!

  16. I love the eyeliner, it's one of my faves.

I used to love dream satin liquid as well but since I got the mac face and body foundation none of my others have had a look in!

I never liked the superstay one but I didn't get the right colour so that may be a big factor in why I never use it! I just wanted it and they had run out of my colour :-)

  18. Your posts are awesome! I love maybelline products! I'm never disappointed! Will have to try the mineral foundation! I find the superstay foundation can look a bit chalky on me so have to thin it down with a moisturiser! xxx

  19. I've never bothered too much with maybelline products but i might have a look at those foundations.I could use a good cheap daytime foundation so i could save my goodies.

Thanks for commenting on my blog!!!

  20. There's a lot of maybelline products in the U.S. that's not yet released here in the Philippines. That's sad..:( I love the Mineral Powder though. I bought two last December and I've consumed it already. :)

  32. Thanks for all your lovely comments :) As much as I adore Maybelline I’m actually kinda surprised at just how popular it is! Looks like everyone loves at least one or two things from the range
Candy apples Maybelline have a waterproof version of the mascara – I just never bother with waterproof stuff cos it can be such a nightmare to remove!

Bibi – I think I’ve rambled on on your blog enough so I’m saying nothing here! You’ll be sick listening to me :)

Liasbubblebath I’ve only tried a few of the Maybelline lipsticks but I’ve really liked them all. A particular favourite is the Colour Sensational lipstick in Ambre Rose. It’s subtle but sooo pretty and really comfortable to wear

Stavroula hope the review on the Superstay foundation and concearler was at least a little bit helpful!
